Tram Terminus

Tram terminus. This was a well known landmark situated just beyond the Briercliffe Rd entrance to the General Hospital, sited approximately where the modern day mini roundabout is today. On the photo the houses at Jib Hill near the Black Bull Inn can be seen in the background, with the pub just out of shot.
